The rules governing your use of the VIZI® platform, VIZIScan® consumer tool, and VIZI® API.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VIZI Inc. ("VIZI," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation. By accessing or using any VIZI® Service — including vizi.com, VIZIScan®, the VIZI® API, or any related product — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
VIZI® is an on-chain credit scoring platform. We analyze publicly available blockchain transaction data associated with wallet addresses and produce a numerical score (the "VIZI® Score") on a 300–850 scale intended to indicate the relative creditworthiness of on-chain activity associated with that address.
VIZI® is not a lender, mortgage broker, credit bureau, financial advisor, investment advisor, or money services business. We do not originate, fund, service, or broker loans. We do not guarantee any particular credit outcome. The VIZI® Score is one data point and does not constitute a credit decision, a credit recommendation, or advice of any kind.
FCRA Notice: VIZIScan® does not provide consumer reports as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). VIZI® scores wallet addresses, not identified natural persons. No consumer file is created or maintained by VIZI®.
We provide our Services on an "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract to create a VIZIScan® account or use the VIZI® API. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, that business must be duly organized and in good standing.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@vizi.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts based on inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent information.
VIZIScan® is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use your VIZIScan® score to understand your own on-chain credit profile, to share with potential lenders at your own discretion, and to track changes in your score over time.
Your VIZIScan® score is based on publicly available on-chain data at the time of the score pull. It reflects activity on covered blockchains only. Off-chain financial activity, activity on uncovered chains, and activity in wallets you have not submitted are not reflected. Your score may differ from any score a lender independently obtains for the same address due to timing, chain coverage differences, or methodology updates.
Your VIZIScan® score is not a consumer report under the FCRA, is not regulated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) as a consumer report, and does not carry the dispute rights associated with traditional consumer credit reports. VIZI® is not a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA).
VIZIScan® Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
These additional terms apply to any entity accessing the VIZI® API under a partner agreement ("Partner").
API keys are confidential. Partners must not share API keys, embed keys in publicly accessible client-side code, or transmit keys over unencrypted channels. VIZI® may revoke keys that are compromised without notice. Partners are liable for all API usage under their keys.
Partners may use the VIZI® Score and API output solely for the purposes described in their executed Partner Agreement, which may include: supplementary underwriting signals, wallet-tier access gating, compliance screening, score display to end users, and consumer-facing score monitoring features. Use outside these permitted purposes requires prior written consent from VIZI®.
When a Partner links a VIZI® Score to an identified loan applicant for a regulated credit decision, the Partner assumes all compliance obligations arising from that linkage, including but not limited to: adverse action notice requirements under ECOA (15 U.S.C. § 1691) and applicable state law; any FCRA obligations triggered by identity linkage; and applicable state-level consumer protection statutes. VIZI® makes no representation that the API output satisfies any particular regulatory requirement for any regulated use.
API usage is subject to the rate limits specified in your Partner Agreement. Exceeding rate limits may result in throttling, temporary suspension, or additional charges. VIZI® will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify Partners before imposing charges for overages.
VIZI® targets 99.9% API uptime on a monthly basis, measured excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance via the VIZI® status page. SLA credits are governed by the Partner Agreement.
You agree not to use the Services to:
The VIZI® Score methodology, scoring algorithm, software, website, trademarks (including VIZI®, VIZIScan®), and all content produced by VIZI® are the exclusive property of VIZI Inc. and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in VIZI® intellectual property.
You retain ownership of wallet addresses and any other data you submit to the Services. By submitting data, you grant VIZI® a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data for the purpose of delivering the Services and, in anonymized aggregate form, for improving our scoring models.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant VIZI® an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
VIZI® scores are derived from publicly available blockchain data and reflect our current best methodology for assessing on-chain credit signals. We do not warrant that scores are error-free, complete, or perfectly predictive of creditworthiness.
Factors that may affect score accuracy include: blockchain data indexing latency, uncovered chains or protocols, wallet-clustering behavior, cross-chain identity fragmentation, and on-chain data that is publicly visible but contextually ambiguous.
If you believe your score contains a material factual error traceable to an on-chain data error, you may contact support@vizi.com with supporting blockchain explorer documentation. We will investigate and correct verifiable data errors within 30 days.
VIZIScan® Pro is available on monthly and annual plans. Pricing is displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date.
API usage is billed according to your Partner Agreement. Invoices are due net-30 unless otherwise specified. Past-due accounts may result in rate limiting or suspension. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in your Partner Agreement.
You are responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed on your use of the Services, excluding taxes on VIZI®'s income. Where VIZI® is required to collect taxes, they will be added to your invoice.
You may close your VIZIScan® account at any time through your account settings. API Partners may terminate their agreement per the notice provisions of their Partner Agreement.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for: violation of these Terms; non-payment; conduct we reasonably determine poses legal, security, or reputational risk to VIZI®; or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable notice of termination where practicable and legally permitted.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services ceases. Sections 7 (IP), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), and 14 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination indefinitely.
No information obtained from VIZI® constitutes financial, legal, investment, or credit advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making credit decisions based on VIZI® Scores.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, VIZI®'s liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VIZI Inc., its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; (c) any credit or other decision you make based on a VIZI® Score; or (d) any regulatory action arising from your failure to comply with applicable lending or data protection law in connection with your use of the VIZI® API.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact VIZI® at legal@vizi.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Many disputes can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, as modified by these Terms. The arbitration shall be conducted in New York, New York, or by videoconference at either party's request. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AND VIZI INC. EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. All disputes must be brought in an individual capacity only.
Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including to protect intellectual property rights, pending arbitration. Small claims court disputes are also exempt from arbitration if they qualify under applicable small claims rules.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration provisions. To the extent any claim is not subject to arbitration, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email (to VIZIScan® account holders) and by posting notice on our website at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For changes required by law or to address security vulnerabilities, we may implement updates immediately and notify you as promptly as practicable.
