Dispute a Score

If you believe your VIZI score does not accurately reflect your on-chain activity, you can submit a dispute. Because VIZI scores are derived from immutable blockchain data, our verification process is transparent and deterministic.

Preparation

Before You Dispute

Before submitting a dispute, take a moment to understand what affects your score and verify the data yourself.

Understand What Affects Your Score

Review your score breakdown on VIZIScan and read our Score Factors guide. Many inquiries are answered by understanding how each factor contributes to your score.

Check If Data Is Accurate On-Chain

VIZI scores are computed from publicly verifiable blockchain data. Before disputing, use a block explorer (Etherscan, Solscan, etc.) to verify the transactions you believe are missing or incorrectly attributed.

Process

How Disputes Work

Submit Your Wallet Address

Provide the wallet address in question. You must be the owner of the wallet to submit a dispute.

Describe the Discrepancy

Identify the specific scoring factor or data point you believe is inaccurate. Include transaction hashes or block numbers if relevant.

VIZI Reviews On-Chain Data

Our disputes team re-examines the specific on-chain data points against the actual blockchain records. Because blockchain data is immutable and publicly auditable, most disputes can be resolved quickly.

Resolution in 5–7 Business Days

You will receive a written determination explaining the outcome. If a score adjustment is made, it will be reflected immediately in VIZIScan and all API responses.

Eligible Disputes

What Can Be Disputed

Incorrect Transaction Attribution

If your score includes activity from a wallet you do not own, or excludes activity from a wallet you do own, you can dispute the wallet clustering.

Cross-Chain Identity Errors

If your wallets across different chains are not being linked correctly, or wallets that are not yours are being associated with your identity graph.

False Sanctions Flags

If your wallet has been incorrectly flagged for sanctions-related activity that you can demonstrate is erroneous.

Stale Data

If recent on-chain activity is not being reflected in your score due to indexing delays or missed transactions on a supported chain.

Limitations

What Cannot Be Disputed

Accurate On-Chain Activity

If the on-chain data is accurate and correctly attributed to your wallet, the resulting score cannot be disputed. Legitimate liquidation events, for example, are accurate records.

Score Methodology Weights

The specific weights assigned to each scoring factor are proprietary and applied uniformly to all scored addresses. You cannot dispute the weighting methodology itself.

Subjective Disagreement

If you simply disagree with your score but the underlying data is accurate, a dispute will not result in a score change. Focus on improving your on-chain behavior over time instead.
